Email alerts
If you sign up for case alerts, the only thing collected is your email address. It is stored and used by Kit (kit.com), the email service that sends the alerts. It is used only to send updates about the cases tracked here. It is not sold or shared with anyone else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Visitors
This site has no accounts, no comments, and no advertising. The site's host (Cloudflare) may keep standard server logs. The site also uses Google Analytics to count visits, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors are from. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects this information in aggregate. It is not used to identify you personally, and it is not sold. You can block it with a browser setting or extension, or with Google's opt-out tools.
